The Chaser has produced election specials for the last three Federal elections. The 2001 version was called The Election Chaser, and was produced by Andrew Denton. It was the group’s first television series, and the only Chaser series not to feature Andrew Hansen.

The 2004 and 2007 versions were produced by the team themselves, and Firth did not participate in the most recent series. The 2001 and 2004 edition consisted of four episodes, and the 2007 was two episodes which followed on directly from the second series of The Chaser’s War On Everything. The 2004 series won the Most Outstanding Comedy Logie in 2005, and its website is archived here.
