For many reasons, the least of which is that the hamlet's fair citizens will not be made to look like fools on national television by drinking water while a fish works its way up one's left nostril. Likewise, our receptionists, security guards and Coles employees will remain anonymous and not have their job security compromised by some satirist turning up with a camera crew and an outrageous costume.

Why won't it let me buy tickets?

It says open to the general public Tues 30th of Oct. That's today, even given the fact that I'm not a member of the general public.

Have I mentioned this forum hates me? Good thing I ticked 'permanent log-in,' because it repeatedly tells me my username does not exist when I try and do anything.  :x

The Chaser has presented political and social issues in an appealing way that has hopefully being getting more people interested and aware in the the world that exists and governs us. It is so easy these days to get lost in insignificant rubbish like trashy magazines and idiotic 'newstainment.'

These guys deserve a knighthood more than Bert Newton!

It is so important to concern yourself with what's important. Typical Uni student talk. I know.

I really do love the show.

there could definitely be more shows i reckon. so far, there are 4 shows over 9 days, another one or two could be slotted in.

Hey I was just wondering, are any of them 18+? I know my one isn't but supposedly the Brisbane one is (yet it even states U18s can go, because the tickets are cheaper) and I was just finding out for someone.

The Melbourne show page on the Ticketmaster site simply states that people need to have a ticket, regardless of age, ie. people below a certain age don't get in free. So yeah, maybe.
Doesn't say anything about checking ID either, but be worth your friend calling the place that sells the tickets to find out from them directly just in case.

I'm pretty sure all the shows are for all ages.

Yeah I'd say they're all ages. Both of the Sydney shows sell student tickets, so that's a fair indication that students are allowed to attend.

Let me just say, on October 30th i made the trip to Sydney (from Adelaide) to be in  the studio audience. I am a poor Uni student as well. So come on guys!, if i can make the trip to Sydney, you can come to Adelaide. And Craig can go see his old house!!.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the Melbourne one sold out about a week ago :(

There is always a chance that they'll do another date though, if the demand is there.

Also, it doesn't hurt to check eBay. As I told the other girl desperate for tickets at least one person will have to be somewhere else, or double booked for that day.

I tried to buy them a week ago but it kept saying website is currently unavailable. aww i cant believe i missed out. :-(  i'll still buy the book though...  it lets me order one ticket but i dont want one lol. maybe i can go to the book shop thing i didn't take much notice of that, ill havve to see when it is. i hope they do another one in Melbourne!!! Why does sydney get two? lol

probably because there are single tickets remaining.

you can always get single tickets if you're really wanting to go. who cares if you don't get to sit with who you're going with? at least you'll be there and you can talk it over with them after the show.

PLEASE do another show in Melbourne! I've been in the middle of Year 12 exams, and the world has kind of passed me by for the last few weeks, so I've missed out on the chance to book tickets!

We're looking at extra shows where it's sold out. Stay tuned.

nah, i checked a couple of days ago, and second row seats were still being offered. i was quite amazed at that! you should be able to grab decent seats.

umm do they include the book signing part in the times they give? it says the show will finish at around 12am. How long after that will it go? its gonna be a pretty late night, I have to travel home from Melbourne as well.. I still want to go though, my mum's just not too sure about it

Well it'll finish somewhere near or just after 12 then they should come out and sign merchandise, so it depends how long you want to stick around after then.

where did you get 12am from? i checked http://www.ticketmaster.com.au/event/13003F76F8708260?artistid=1171313&majorcatid=10002&minorcatid=51 and it still has the times for the previous show. it says the show goes for an hour and 40 minutes, so i assume the second one will too. so, the show should finish at 11.20pm or there abouts.

And then mum's like
"Oh, ho, ho I'll buy those 2 A-Row Tickets for you!"
And I reply
"Yeah, but what do we do with the other tickets"
Mum froze, "Uhhhhh...."

So now I have to sell two tickets, and I have no idea what to dooooo! So yeah

Will Andrew and Chris be at the Chaser's Bore on Everything? Cos in the front cover of the Chaser's Annual for 2007, it says that the writers are Craig, Chas and Julian. There is no mention of Andrew or Chris. So will they be attending the event to promote the book or will it just be the other three guys?

I sure hope Andrew and Chris will be there!
