Parents take-up smack after discussing drugs with son

[Edition 40] Killara, Wednesday: A North Shore couple have become addicted to heroin after sitting down with their teenage son to frankly discuss his drug use. During a family conference, prompted by the Federal Government’s new drug initiative, schoolboy Nicholas Simcox, 17, convinced his parents Jane, 51, and Andrew, 56, of the benefits of opiate addiction.

This story allows The Chaser to act like other papers and refer back to a past story as if it was really important.

“Initially Andrew and I were completely opposed to drugs and were determined to make Nicholas quit”, said Mrs Simcox, “”However, once we’d sat down and all spoken openly, it seemed he had quite a good case. He certainly made it sound fantastic. We all had a hit at the dinner table. That was three weeks ago and we’ve never looked back “.

Mr Simcox was also enthusiastic about his new addiction. “I’ve just retired, have lots of money, but I’ve found it hard to fill in my days. Golf just wasn’t working for me and I was feeling a bit lost.

Smack, or “hammer” as we like to call it, has really filled the void. I wake up every morning with a purpose. It’s allowed the family to bond – and it’s certainly improved my sex life.”
